What is CPA Marketing?

If you have started down the real road to making money online, then you most likely have heard the acronym CPA? So what is CPA Marketing? CPA stands for “Cost Per Action“. The theory of CPA is simple. First, you become an affiliate for different companies. Next, you get paid when someone clicks on your affiliate link and completes an action.

The “action” can be just about anything from submitting an email to signing up for a dating service or buying something. Just about every product on the internet has some type of affiliate program you can sign up for. Of course you can always contact the advertisers directly. But if you join an Affiliate Network you will have access to thousands of offers. While the second sounds like much less work, often times you will make less money then going to an advertiser direct. If you are just getting started, there is no better place to start then with an Affiliate Network.

And while we are on the subject, we will say there is no better Affiliate Network then Max Bounty. And it’s not just our opinion.

Once you are signed up and approved at your affiliate network, you will have a lot of decisions to make. You will be assigned an affiliate manager who will help guide you through the process. The most important advice we can give you (the same advice we read on blogs when we were first starting out) is get in good with your affiliate manager. Don’t tell them lies! Be completely honest and transparent, even if what you are doing is questionable. Especially if what you are doing is questionable!

Besides Max Bounty, there are several other networks we love like CPA Lead, Adscend Media andAbove All Offers. What are your favorite networks? Leave your affiliate links for others to check out other networks!
